Nope, it's because of your attitude. You make all these claims and are one of the most bias people I've ever seen. Yoyo's post is proof that regardless of what anyone says, no matter how good the point or counter-point is to the subject you are discussing, you won't yield an inch. You'll keep at it even past the point where you look like a fool. Yet, when a new poster says something, you go all out trashing their post and then complain about "MANNN THE GARM IS GOING TO THE SH!TTER". About the worm comment, I already apologized to you. Your attitude really got to me that day. Always claiming that people are entitled to their opinion but criticize anyone who has one different from you. You come into D&D and blast religion but, again, when anyone puts you in a corner you respond with "To each their own" or "That's your opinion". Always coppin out.
It is not a cop out to say it is all an opinion, that is precisely what it is....what I say is my opinion, doesn't mean it is fact, just what I believe. Put in a corner, lol, you just proved my point about this place being more about "gotcha" then actual bball or anything discussion. And yes, I get into that too...guilty as charged. I usually just forget stuff and move on, unless people harp on things or chase me around sniping, like you were doing in the D&D. I think the difference is in how we view the internet message board, I realize that sometimes what is written down is not what the writer intended, and each person reads what is written in their own way....which is a good portion of the time WAY WAY WAY off base. I take quite a bit of heat, that's ok, I can handle it......but one of the reasons I do the videos is so people can see that my takes are not as harsh in person as they can be interpetted to be in the "Written word". And yes, you apologized, and I accepted, I still believe stuff like that is what makes this place worse, we can agree to disagree, we can argue, we can make fun......but so what? Those are just opinions of others......it doesn't have to affect you in any way. I mean, some people on here are just flat our rude, but I guess that is what happens when they can hide behind being anonymous....me, nah, not my thing. It's a cop-out when you make a statement but then don't bother to listen or even sometimes try to respond to the other side. Believe it or not, you do this more in the GARM than you do in D&D. It's just in D&D where you and I clash. Nobody would try to play "gotcha" with you if you start to accept that there is validity in both sides. If you truly want to discuss and debate about rockets, then at one point you gotta say "hey, I get what you're saying and I now partially agree with you" or "Yes, you are correct, I didn't think of it that way"....I don't think I've ever seen that from you. People clowned on you way before you posted your videos. Yes, the videos gave folks a new array of insults to hurl towards you but that would never of happened if your attitude on this board was different. (you got madd guts though, I'll give you that)
You know, I really am not bothered by that so much, I am pretty happy where I am right now, and don't take this board to seriously. Oh sure, I think that people should be more respectful, but that is completely Clutch's call, not mine. I will still report over the top posts though, in hopes that the clutch crew starts cleaning this place up like the old days, but again, not my call. So basically you wish I would tone the posts down, my nature is to bluntly type what I think and hope people are intelligent enough to realize it is just MY opinion and not an insult to theirs. Oh well, I can't worry too much about how folks view me on an internet message board etc....real life is where I care about the views of others.
