Thats the one! No one in this vid comes out looking good from this. I think it comes back to how these days, everyone feels like they have to start a fight over stupid crap they should just let slide. Someone throws a snowball at your car, don't get out and draw you gun! Drive away! Someone jumps out their car waving a gun around because you threw a snowball, leave. Nah...ah...oh....just leave! I have no problems with people having fun, but at some point people just need to chill out and not get angry over EVERYTHING!
Why do you people have this image that cops are under educated? Check the requirements guys. You cannot be a police officer in Houston or in Washington DC with just a high school diploma. In both cities, the bare minimum for applicants is 60 hours of college credit.
The cop made a major mistake, but all the language at them escalated the situation. There are some educated police, but by and large the force is not the most educated or intelligent line of work. DD
Reasonable, normal human beings would stop their colleagues from brandishing weapons in a snowball fight.
Guy was a detective? How the hell did this dip**** get promoted that high? I'm not one of those "SMOKE PIGS!" types, but it doesn't matter how many badges you have, you can't just jump out of your car into a crowd of people and start waving your ****ing gun around. It's not like he was in uniform, either; this guy is lucky no one pulled out a concealed weapon and shot him. I've worked with enough cops to know that being a big-city cop is a tough job. But this ******* was a detective. If he didn't know better, then he is literally too stupid or too out-of-control to have kept his job.
Ideally but I'm assuming that college graduates would prefer to work for the FBI, CIA, etc.. I've heard their standards are high. For example, they do hair follicle tests.
I don't understand why a detective would be directing traffic to begin with. I thought that assignment was given to rookies.
One of my uncles just became apart of the HPD (really just a fam friend but we call everyone uncle). I know he didn't go to school here in the States. Maybe he did some college work in the mother country. He told me that he is pretty much trying to arrest as many people as possible so he can get promoted out of the hood or something to that extent. If nothing sticks, "I just give them a PI". Houston's finest at its best
He wasn't directing traffic. He was just passing by... in his Hummer.. and got pissed cause someone hit his big SUV with a soft and harmless little snowball
He should have runned them over with his big SUV..the people on there were so annoying...expecially the lady asking for his badge number..he should of b**** smack her. I bet if people threw snowballs at your car you've be a little pissed as well right? No matter how soft the snowball....you can't just throw a snowball at a passing vehicle... i wish the cop had a taser gun..this video would of been more fun.
I see both sides being at fault. The cop obviously overreacted to the situation... and the group of people didn't respect the cops in the first place. Throwing a snowball at someone's face when they have a loaded handgun, is never a good idea.
