Ridiculous. You build a team around two superstars, then you expect it to perform when they don't get to play, (then even take several other player out of the line-up)? How would the Bulls have done w/o MJ? Or w/o MJ and Pippen? Opponents' defenses tighten-up...shots disappear...etc etc
Analyze all you want...have win lost all our games on Wednesdays? When the moon is full? Try analysis using logic. What's the major issue this year? Injuries. How does this team perform when it gets some time, any time to play together? They start wininng at an excellent 70+ % rate. It's simple. To analyze how we perform after we're already missing major pieces of our team is fellatious...er..fallacious.
This is kind of out of nowhwere with the "CD stepping down at season's end." And then to throw out Kiki's name is even more interesting. Whatever the case, it is clear this team needs more talented role players, and a 3rd scorer. And Les better be willing to take on some salaries to get it done. And we better hit a homerun on our top 13 1st round pick.
Wow, I didn't know that. That's nearly a friggin decade! Clippers, Orlando, Cleveland, GS, et al...wow. That's great company. Fire CD!!! Fire Clutch the Bear!!!!! Burn down Toyota Center, burn it down!!!!!
People keep arguing that we don't have trade assets. I wonder how true that is. We're gonna have a lottery pick (probably in the #10-#11 range). Luther Head's game declined after so many minutes played, but you figure it'll pick back up. Stromile Swift has not lived up to some of our Pollyanna expectations, but he's not dog food, either. The trade exception we got from the Moochinator trade. With a third team involved, you might get Rashard, who has told Seattle the press that he'll leave the Sonics after next year. Can't get that done? Draft wisely. Then? Go after Posey, Tim Thomas, et al, with the MLE. The only way I see a bleak future is if Tracy McGrady turns into our Grant Hill.
Roxtxia there is a strong possibility of this being the case. We will know for sure after this Summer offseason. If nothing can be done for him then he might have to change his game to make him more durable or we might have to find a replacementY
Agree, also pulling for the Knicks to lose every game cause of the 2nd round pick they owe the rockets. If it's the 1st or 2nd pick in the second round then the rockets could have the potential in moving up in this draft or aquire another 1st round pick with a team thats not wanting to guarantee three years for a 1st rounder. Even if they don't move the pick their will be roleplayer impact like talent in the early part of the second round. I am slowly switching my focus to college basketball.
