This wasn't a real big deal, but today in my civil procedure class, my professor (a prominent federal appellate judge on the 7th circuit court of appeals) told a story dawgin bud adams. apparantly in the 70's there was some antitrust suit against the washington redskins by some guys who wanted to start an afl team in washington. my prof, then a low level associate at a law firm was sent out to interview afl team owners to find out what criteria they look at for new owners. well, she had to interview bud adams, whom she described as a very large, unintellegent, uncouth, sweaty fat guy. also, he was apparantly wearing a silk shirt unbuttoned to his belly. HA! thought it was worth noting, since us houstonians share a common hatred for the man. ------------------
