You wouldn't draft a RB at all? Just run it back with Burkhead?

Just trying to make sure I understand your take.

If we have the same stable of picks as now, I would not draft a RB in the first 3 rounds. If we get a haul that includes more picks in the first 3 rounds, I would consider using a 3rd. If we had that multitude of 1, 2, 3 round picks and there was a real potential game changer I would go as high as 2nd round, but I don’t see that in this draft.

If Spiller somehow fell to our pick in the 4th, I would take him there or somebody like him. I think that is unlikely, but you never know. Most GM’s are reluctant to take RB’s early in the draft.

if Spiller would be available in the 4th you better take him with a 3rd rounder. The team wants to run the ball like the 2013 Seahawks with 30 year old has beens

I definitely think he's earned the starter role for next season making improvements every week. I knew he could be effective playing empty/ shotgun and uptempo. But he was just as good on roll outs/under center.
More Pep +running game and another receiving threat would be instrumental in taking the next step.

If all fails, Bryce Young will be available.

Fine, I just wanted to post that pic! looks familiar?

I want one of the top 3-4, but I also think we should highly consider James Cook if he falls to 4th or 5th. I don't think he will, I tend to think a team will fall in love with him and the Alvin Kamara comparisons and take him higher than anticipated. Possibly 2nd, more likely 3rd.

Pretty sure a llama would have been more appropriate.

With the Watson news hot off the press, is Mills QB1 for the foreseeable future?

If Mills can take the next step, he will be the best qb in the AFC south. =)
28 Tds/15 ints, 96 rating is the stat line I'm looking for. No pressure.

I actually believe Mills can be better than at least 7 of those QBs (Wilson, Jones, Tua, Jackson, Trubisky, Lawrence, and Tannehill). I may be wrong, but if our talent improves on offense and defense this team could win 6-8 games if Mills balls out.

Not going to bs I really do my best to shoot it straight... I like Davis Mills at QB. I can see him potentially being great. Just gotta draft the right pieces around him and sign key free agents. Pep is perfect for his development.

Ok so I’d take Davis mills 10 times out of 10 over Trubisky, that’s first.

I think Davis has more upside than Tua(I’ll admit I’m very low on Tua), Wilson(also very low on Wilson), and Mac(I think Mac is what he is). I think Trevor will be better(Jags are actually more dysfunctional than the Texans), Matt Ryan is starting to lose the Father Time match, and Tannehill is absolutely terrible without Derrick Henry behind him. Mills is going to surprise some folks who are not even giving the Texans any chance. They won’t make the playoffs but they’ll surprise most of the NFL world

I think Mills has as much upside as any QB in the league. Can Pep squeeze it out or not.
The talent is there. I still liken him to Burrow physically. Does he have the stones that Burrow does
