i agree with you. he (gordon) and thornton are about as untouchable as it gets. i just wish somehow we could get him b/c he has steel nerves and a steely discipline. and DeAndre Jordan is a dope. he is a taller Stro, that's it. followed him in college, and he hasn't changed one iota.
Yes, Yao is a better player now, but here are some reasons to do the deal: 1. Bosh is 24. He still has room for improvement. (was Yao that good at 24?) 2. Yao won't be able to sustain a long rebuilding process (and who knows if he'll want to) 3. Bosh and Amare are not the same. Bosh has a much bigger affect on the game. He actually tries on D and he's a team player on offense. He actually has a post game that can give teammates opportunities to score as apposed to Amare's jumpshot or dunk offense. 4. Bosh is a versatile player. While rebuilding, he can play alongside different types of players similar to how Pau in LA can play with either Odom or Bynum. 5. Yao is injury prone. He is a huge player who has had multiple injuries below his waist. And with the exception of big Z (who goes inside less often than Tracy Mcgrady these days) most 7'3+ guys don't age well.
we dont need another center on our roster, we have deke, he can still block shots, he can still play, we just need to use him
To think Kaman and Davis for Tracy, that would be a win for the rox, but u have to get rid of some other players in the process. Scola or landry would have to go and Rafer would have to go. To think Davis,Artest,Battier,Kaman and yao as the starters, you can't lose for that. If yao can play with cato, he can play with Kaman who is a good rebounder/shot blocker, inside scorer. Davis has been crest fallen this year. I think when brand 2 faced it, it dropped his spirits. It doesn't matter because tracy might be out for the season.
