Last night I went to a wedding in which David Wood was there in from Europe.
Remember David Wood? The flopper 7+"er that gave Charles Barkley fits in the early 90's.
Just thought I'd throw that out, HA HA HA.

Oh yeah, I saw Rudy and Cuttino were on the seating list but didn't show up.

Wood wasn't a 7 footer... you must've seen some other 7 foot dude. :) Wood was actually 6'9".

So basically nothing has changed for David. He spent a solid hour sitting on some pine, listening to some guy's sermon about being good, watching as 10 people put on a show, and then celebrating at the end of it all even though he didn't participate. Yeah. Some things never change :)

Pretty funny. That pretty much summed up his career in the NBA.
But he supposibly a star in Europe...remember this was BEFORE the europeans have been taking over the NBA.

A friends brother of mine who is a ballboy for the fun of it. He also drives the zamboni for the Aeros and his other brother is a travelling dunker with Turbo and his dancing team.

It was a helluva black tie gala at the Doubletree. He actually makes A LOT of money doing his real job and his wife's family is loaded.

Good thing. If Cat would have shown up, someone probably would have started a thread saying Cat is lazy and should work harder during the offseason. :D

I was at the wedding too... didn't see David Wood though. I'm family friends with the bride. From what I heard, Cuttino did RSVP for the wedding but he didn't show.

What a pathetic jackass...you don't RSVP and then not show up. I bet he doesn't leave tips either.

Well Rudy obviously RSVPed because his name was a card on the table with the seating assignments.

David Wood has been a friend of the grooms family for years.
I remember being younger in high school and riding go-carts with David at Celebration Station on Hillcroft. David was friends with the owner.

Yeah if Cat would have shown up it would have been REALLY BAD because god forbid he's not working on his game on a Sunday night (Fathers Day) rather than getting blizted at a really nice wedding.

Truth be known he was probably getting drunk with the Spurs!

I'm SOOOO sorry I missed that game, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I read an article that said he wasn't even there to greet JVG at the airport.

    What an a-hole!

Also at the wedding. Mobley didn't RSVP but asked someone to send along the message that he was going to show up. The only player that RSVPed was Cato.

What kind of jackass says he'll be there, but doesn't go through the formal process of RSVPing?!? There's a process you need to follow Cuttino! This isn't Nam, there are rules!

I didn't know Cato was invited.
    Suprised he didn't SHOW UP!
At least he SHOWED UP this past season!!

I was looking for the groom to mop the hardwood with
Van Gundy but he wasn't invited I guess, ha ha ha.

I would haved been cool to see some Rockets, but I guess David Wood was the only ex-Rocket representing. That was more than he did ON the court.
