He’s right.....what is there to debate.

Never understood how even some writers (super nerds) opinions would matter when they’ve never played the game in any capacity with any success.

You talking out your arse basically.

Morey is a number cruncher. Not a good judge on talent or fit with a team. It’s time y’all praise him for what he is , simply a numbers guy and a glorified GM. Albeit good for the most part still overrated.

To imply that this style will be the norm implies you expect the players (coming out of college) to fit that style and unfortunately that won’t happen. There are systems better than that in play that work. You are limiting a players natural ability when you make him take Only shoot 3’s and layups. CP3 even started to take more 15ft shots at the end of the season and playoffs because that’s his game. This system works in the regular season but isn’t going to do much when playoffs come.

In the last 2 years, what other team has given them the run that WE have?

I didn't say shoot only 3's and layups. I said threes, free throws and high percentage two point shots.

I have no problem with a player taking a 15 footer if he can make it at a high rate. It's the low percentage two point shots that are the problem. Morey doesn't have a problem with high percentage two's either.

The system is not the issue in my opinion. OUR issue is we still have yet to find a SF or PF that can consistently create his own shot below the FT line. We have to have that to beat G St. All of our current scorers/playmakers that we rely on, initiate the offense from the top. If we just had a player like Iguodola on the roster we would be a much better team. Ariza was close, but even he had trouble creating from the wing when they ran him off the 3pt line. He could not drive in and finish in the paint consistently or make a good play. This year we had nobody able to do that (thought Melo would be that but it didn't work). Clint doesn't have the ability yet to operate more than 5 ft away from the paint. Remember how dominant Stoudamire was in this offense at Phx? That is what this roster needs to make this system REALLY GO. He doesn't have to be an all star caliber player either. Just have that skill set and be consistent with it and if he can help on the boards from time to time that would be a bonus. That is what you need in the playoffs when the outside shot is not falling. Our current wings can only spot up and shoot the 3.

I don't think you know what the word efficiency means then. This isn't an opinion. The more efficient team scores more points, and the team with more points wins. Those are the rules.

Efficient team not always score more points.

Efficient doesn't mean you have fewer turnovers... Of course Rockets most of time are lazy, not efficient at all.

Warriors play dumb basketball... Threes, layups, take away all ball movement by switching on defense

They also move on offense with lots of picks and back cuts, and take midrange shots too.

    Good response and I agree.

If we did not have two of the top 5 one on one play makers in the game today I'd be getting angry with our style. But, that style for us is simply the most effective against a Warriors team. Unfortunately it still hasn't been enough.

Again, good response, but my original sarcastic comment still stands regarding the other highly criticized components

Especially when KD is out. No more isolation. Lots of movement off the ball. They never stand around and watch Curry or Klay dribble for 20 seconds.

We give them more of a struggle than anyone else, but they still end up winning the series every year.

He only constructed a team that only refs prevented from beating the best team of all times 2 years in a row
