It doesn't matter, all you need to know is Beckham. Everything else is irrelevant.

Which are you talking about? The guy whom he made the assist to in the second half? That's Landon Donovan, he's played for team USA in the last 2 World Cups. Other than him, I don't know anyone else that would matter.

If you are talking about this clip, the guy is Reggie Bush.

I think his name is Reggie Bush and believe he plays American Football. Click the other clips at the bottom and you shall see his name.

You mean you didn't purchase your Galaxy Beckham Jersey?

About getting better talent in the american leagues, I might be in the minority here, but I wouldn't mind if Europe passed their "limiting foreign players proposal". Can you imagine the MLS and river plate bidding for the services of Kaká ? Tony saca using the money given to him by the bush administration to run smear campaigns, to invest on the skills of Messi. It would be wonderful.

If the Nba was able to become the ñba,then all things are possible. :)

    Goal:

Pass to Donovan is just before the 4' mark in this one:

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tBuYogJ9eH8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tBuYogJ9eH8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

You could very convincingly argue that the pass should've been intercepted, but Gros was facing the other way and evidently had a difficult time turning around or throwing a leg out to block it. The replay at 4:43 is the best look at that. Not to be overlooked is that Donovan still had some work to do to score. He's a pretty safe bet on those breakaways, though.

Gros was in no man's land when he turned his back. Once he did that and Beckham saw it, he was dead in the water. Nice composure and finish by Donovan. I have a feeling these 2 are going to pair up for a lot of goals when it's all said and done...

Yeah, poor defending, but decent finishing from Donovan.

What the defender should've done is face Beckham. It becomes the next defenders job to face Donovan. The next defender's job to defend whoever the other striker was. Basically rotate and force the team into more difficult decisions and more difficult angles.

Turning you're back on a midfielder who has no one in front of him? Poor decision. It actually wasn't the smartest pass from Beckham, very easy to intercept, there was an easier pass to make.

Freekick was great. I have to wonder what the goalkeeper was thinking though.

Did you see the way his wife didnt give a f*** until she noticed the camera was on her. Its like shes there only as a throphy. Sad, no wonder he's lost his passion for competitive soccer, like in spain or england.

Most overrated soccer player in the history. I hate this guy and his girly playing style.

Just dont understand why he is so popular, anybody that knows anything about soccer knows he isnt that good. At his peak, around 98, at best he was an B-list player.

If you think Beckham was a B-list player in the late 90s, you don't know much about soccer. Go back and watch some of the games from United's treble winning season. He was brillant.

That's why he was a B-list player a notch below Zidane, Del Piero, Ronaldo

So there can only be 3 A-list players at a time in the world?
