Absolutely nothing! Lol, I was just responding to another poster that saw him as a poor fit. I just really disagreed with him.

Others, though, are saying they signed him to a his current contract with the intention of trading him (because it drops over time I suppose: https://www.spotrac.com/nba/orlando-magic/aaron-gordon-15356/). And perhaps the Magic may want to get their young(er) front-line players more run?

I wonder what they would want for him though. A couple unprotected firsts?

So we get Burks who ranks 97 out of 105 in defensive real plus minus and 96 out of 105 in the ESPN Wins calculation for shooting guards. He gives us luxury tax savings and an expiring contract.

    What's the other trade?

Bullock has never been known for his defense

I dont know about matching salaries but I would do EGo for Jaylen in a heartbeat. If I had to add something else I would. This team is really lacking a young athletic wing that can put the ball i the basket.

I really like Jaylen too, but they aren't trading him for Gordon.

cant believe Lakers just scammed the Pistons for 6'7 Bullock who has been playing great for the Pistons (career 39% 3p shooter)

All it took was a scrub and 2nd rounder smh

We have too many guys who are unable to score when Harden is out, guys who dont really play great D consistently, NO REBOUNDERS... and have a bunch of guys who arent really 3 point shooters jacking up 3s all day. Gordon would add to that bunch.
I'm not saying the guy is terrible. I agree he would fit in well with Houston in certain aspects. However, for us to give up everything we have for Aarong Gordon, (a guy who has yet to prove himself), and a few other guys... its not a smart move.
He doesnt bring the team a significant skill to carry us to the chip. We dont need someone who is "discovering themselves." We need reliable players with established basketball skills. Athleticism, is overrated IMHO and Skills are a valued commodity in the NBA.
    -Mediocre rebounder.
    -BARELY Mediocre shot
    -Barely mediocre handles
    -He has back problems
He is at best a jack of all traits and a master of none.

I think his teammate... Nikola Vucevic would do more for us.

The Rockets are going to get Burks, a 38% shooter from 3, with better handles and plays better defens. Plus you finally get rid of Ryno's contract.

The way Ennis is jacking 3's but not necessarily rebounding wouldn't be surprised if he is included in a deal to go somewhere's else!
