Yes he's a allstar caliber player. He's also a elite PG. The issue is fans don't celebrate guys who don't put up ridiculous stats. What you don't realize ia he doesn't need to average huge numbers on this team. He can control the game & distribute the ball in a traditional PG way. He's also SUPER clutch. You can't rattle Chris Paul

 

Capela misses 3 weeks and yall forget what he brings to the table lmfaooo.

Btw DJ probably isn't going anywhere. They already said they want to keep him to entice KD.

If you're comfortable with rolling with manlet Faried as our starting center going forward then we might as well DNP Harden for the rest of the season and tank as hard as possible.

 

Bradley Beal would be awesome, but losing Capela and EG would make us an overall worse team. The difference between Beal and EG doesnt offset the drop off between Capela and Mahinmi.

Please read the following with the understanding that the NBA makes no promises, players and agents talk daily and news changes in a second. However, from my side of things today, the following speculation/allegations were suggested. Please understand that yes, I know people. But, I have NO access to any front office. I am not Shams, Woj or Cyber. No arrogance, but I've had good ears come through, so with that, I'll share what was discussed throughout my day.

Ears of the day...days before THE DAY:

Lots of good texts/convos today: I still see AD becoming a Laker...but if the deal isn't right, he could become a rental despite his daddy's remarks.

More importantly:

John Wall's injury is a BIG DEAL. MASSIVE. The league is coming on to WASH like hyenas. This changes the landscape of that team.

Beal, despite reports, is available. Washington is rebuilding and Beal knows it's over. Wall is missing all next season. Their future is DONE. Twin is adamant about playing later into the season, so I see him asking for an out.

The same implosion I mentioned before the season is beyond that now.

And, despite lots of reports, one Ear is discussing our interest in BB, Ian (bad contract), Otto (bad contract) Twin, Tomas (expensive) and Jeff Green are on the table.

I'm not even semi-promising Beal, but there is a scenario of a 3-4 team deal Mem/(NY involved) with picks and one great talent coming back to Washington, with BB coming here. (Along with fillers)

*You need other teams to help absorb the money AND our roster would be pretty thin for awhile.

Admittedly, Beal's contract is crazy expensive, BUT Wash wants picks, expiring(s) and a set up to move beyond the Wall era. They also want someone to take I.M's contract ...badly.

Also, Rockets exploring the smaller deals: Memphis (sorry for mentioning it again and again.) Marc isn't the target. From a text today, Morey is invested in Clint unless the perfect deal comes. James wants Clint in the crunch. Conley expects to be traded and I've hear Orlando and Utah. Marc is a potential Laker target if AD falls through.

And, my favorite DarkHorse: Boston wants AD, but they have assets that need to be traded now. Beandip and Morey have a good relationship. Terry and JB are available and WANT a chance to play. AD wants Los Angeles, and Boston wants to move salary and "Daddy" for injury fears. Morey needs depth. So, an Ear mentioned that Morey's playing for Jay (tight with James) and Terry for depth (can play 1/2 and 3 in some instances)

Same mentions I've shared before: Charlotte is busy and Kemba is being targeted. For us, there is talk of the Martian, Batum (bad contract, but in a new environment....you never know) and Willy. They want to move BisB so badly it's like Hasheem Thabeet all over again.

Miami: don't expect Miami to stand pat. They ARE a playoff team, but the locker room is a mess. Allegedly ("story time" lol) Juwan and Udonis have broken up altercations (verbal) b/t my guy Hassan and Spo and the guy who nearly was ours: JJ. *Wayne Ellington still is a target. Miami wants a pick/cash or an expiring.

Last Ear: Indiana's loss of Vic is bad. They're still competitive, but they're in dire need of help. One mention is Tyreke/Leaf (or KyleO) for Ego and filler. I don't know how to feel about that. EGO is clutch.


That's it from me. Please understand this comes from people I trust, but also recognize how quickly the league changes within minutes. No promises here. My circle is not Cyber's and I have no reach into the the Lakers and LeBron. My sig is consistent with what I've been told throughout the season, but with recent developments, it's an arms race. The East and West are wide open.

Morey won't sleep well. Ne says James has requested "more help"....don't know what that means...can only speculate.
