And Randolph and Biedrins will most likely be moved. That puts Lee at center and Udoh at PF. That works.
maybe they are actually planning on using big guys this season. biedrins-gadzuric-turiaf lee-udoh-wright pretty respectable rotation of post players. even formidable, if biedrins is healthy.
I've been saying this for days!! Same with Lowry, no one appreciates their talent. The lack of air time last year was probably a blessing in disguise.
@chadfordinsider: Agent says David Lee is still negotiating w/ 5 teams. No deal with the Warriors yet. http://es.pn/disHDd May have jumped the gun!
This is a good trade for the Rockets IMO. Reason being that I don't see it contributing to NY immediate success. Randolph can develop into a nice player and he has amazing upside, but NY just gave away their biggest bargaining chip as far as a trade is concerned to an Amare back-up and some scrubs. This was from the Daily Dime chat earlier [Comment From SebastienSebastien: ] I'm not enamored with the Randolph trade because he plays the same position as amare, but he's a good gamble as he only make 1.8mil and I believe his contract expires next year, and he's only 20yrs old Thursday July 8, 2010 4:21 Sebastien 4:21 Zach Harper (Hardwood Paroxysm/TrueHoop Network): For the price, it's not a bad move. I just think you're completely giving up on Year One of Amare and Friends. I think this guys is right. I could care less how the Knicks future is. As long as they suck it up this and next season.
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/17829/david-lee-waiting-on-lebron That's around $11.3M for Lee in the first year. Boozer's getting around $13.5M in his first year. So Scola's market price is $8M to $10M?
Of course Lee doesn't have a deal yet... if he did, the league could say NYK doesn't have the cap space to get LeBron. I'm guessing that if LeBron doesn't go to NYK, Lee likely has a deal with the Warriors already... but agent wanted to MAKE CLEAR that he doesn't have a deal right now to avoid the Miami Heat's fate from the 1996 Alonzo Mourning-Juwan Howard debacle. http://www.nytimes.com/1996/08/13/s...sists-the-heat-broke-no-salary-cap-rules.html
You know, at $13.3 mil a year, I'd take Lee. Lets give them back Jared Jeffries' expiring contract, Jordan "Bad Rookie" Hill, and the right to exchange 1st rounders in 2011 and the Knicks' 2012 pick.
I'm not sure what's funnier, the fact that Juwan got a $100 million deal or that Riles was super pissed that he wasn't the one to give it to them.
Wasn't it so much simpler back then, where $100 million contracts flowed like fine wine down a river of happiness and laughter?
If Houston doesn't make a serious move.I'm becoming a Heat fan...Morey has let too many slip away..So much for being a genius..
lol seriously. the guys says slip away like those players were in morey's hands and he let them go. those guys had this all planned from the start, danced around with each team while they each had camera's shooting a documentary, then they shoot the scripted ending to the movie tonight on espn. planned from the start. not morey's fault.
