Extras is one of my favorite shows of all time. It and Arrested Development are tied for first IMO. Dude no way.
You fail sir. I can't even understand what they are saying most of the time. Ricky Gervais has even said he thinks the US version is better
I don't see how it's even fair to compare anymore. Hasn't the US version run a lot longer with many more different story lines?
Has anyone found a torrent of the full episode yet? I've also tried getting BBC iPlayer to work, but haven't had any luck on my Mac. Here's a link with instructions.
I found a link to download the full episode -- LINK Just downloaded it and it works, about to watch it now.
Despite the fact that it might have helped save the American broadcast sitcom, I liked it until it turned into Scranton Friends. That unresolved issue was one of the appealing plot points of the original show: which was much more about the constraints of protocol and responsibility than about the apparent zany, wacky oppressiveness of salaried office jobs. I heard they parodied a YouTube clip on that wedding episode; that's pretty much my cue to tune out. I can't even watch the thing in syndication.
Like an idiot, I'm downloaded a link that I have no idea what it is by it's description. I'm hoping it's the Cross show and not dudes having sex with goats.
The US version is on going and Gervais is making money off it. It's a Channel 4 program. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/comedy-showcase/episode-guide/series-9/episode-1 http://www.channel4.com/watch_online/
