Its comments like this that make me think that some of you guys just BS and dont even watch the games. It was third down and we RAN the ball and then kicked the game-tying FG. David Carr was not given the oppurtinity to get the first down. Watch the game or ask someone that did watch it before you make posts like this.

Yep me too. There's just so much more that needs to be done on this team to fix their sad position. Seriously, IMO.....QB is one of the last things that needs to be fixed on this team.

I do wish we'd change the play calling a bit, I'm sick of seeing the quick drop offs.....When we do go down the field at times we're a lot better.

But Carr just can't make many plays. Every time he stayed back in the pocket I was afraid he would fumble or make a dumb mistake. And what was up with the two illegal forward passes? And I felt like VY could run the ball anytime he wanted, and he chose his spots brilliantly.

"I think David did his job, but as players and coaches sometimes you've got to do a little more than your job," said Kubiak. "And that counts for all of us."

Good Luck David where ever you go just hurry and get the hell out of here :)

I agree. 100% Bob McNair simply CANNOT give up on Carr. I don't know what it will take. How could football people not see the things that us fans see??? How could they not see Carr's shortcomings? How could they not see what a special player Vince was?? That is why we have to root for the team to lose and root for Carr to play awful. They have to get rid of him before they can get better.

Dude, what are you smoking? I have never heard a more rosy picture painted about a bucket of manure called a NFL QB in my life. Get serious. He's proven nothing!

To me .. .that was a Vote of No Confidence
The Coach took the ball and the ball game out of his QB's hands

This has been abysmally bad for 5 years. Carr doesn't inspire anyone of the team. It appears he doesn't have faith in his teammate.

But, he is an average quarterback. He run the plays like the coach calls them. And I think that a complete team can win with Carr at the helm.

Problem is that on offense the only guy that is a gammer is Johnson. And even he has had several key drops. Those drops have been detremental to drives and games. But, he keeps making plays, albeit ASTOUNDING ONES. But, in my opinion some of those drops have deflated the Texasn and even David Carr.

However all of the blame is falling on Carr. But why? It was the defense that allowed Vince Young to run for 39 years and a touchdown. With Defensive Linemen who weren't even on a NFL team at the start of the season!!!!

The routs the Texans receivers are running aren't getting them open. That is coaching!!! Obviously, they aren't open enough for Carr to want to throw to them.

Kubiac knew the drill. Play for overtime and take fate with a whim. The defensive line was shook up after losing 1/2 of the starters. Then Williams is playing with an injury. Everyone knew that Young is a runner.

Carr is a serviceable STARTING quarterback. Problem is that this team needs a MIRACLE MAKER, "which I agree Carr isn't". Vince young appears to be what the team needed. But that is water under the bridge.

You could put Elway, Manning, etc in to quarterback the team. And the team might go 10-6 or 9-7 (which I personally doubt), but the team could never win a Super Bowl the way it is. And that assuming that the quarteback doesn't get hurt after all of the sacks!!!!

This team has problems. They are deep. And they All have to be addressed. Don't let the whole team get off the blame, by just blaming Carr.

By the way if Sage who did have a good half game was so good, why weren't all NFL teams knocking down his door? It goes back to the old saying, the most popular guy in the NFL is always the backup quarterback!!! What a clichee!!!

But in Houston, the most popular guy isn't even on our team. It's the starting quarterback to the team that ripped our hearts by losing to Buffalo, Denver, Kansas City then by leaving us!!! WE CAN BE PROUD TO NOT BE A CLICHEE HERE. Here Vince is KING!!!
