Hmmm. Interesting stuff, where did you get it? I agree with it. I mean, the guy has been sacked more times in the last 3 years that any other 3 year period for any other QB in NFL history. And you know what? The guy is still absolutely fearless. How many times have you seen him get hit, then get back up and pat the guy who hit him on the helmet? He always gets right back up. That kind of toughness is rare for QBs. Very Bret Farve-like. You can't coach that.
Yep. When the Pats shutdown the run in the AFC Championship Big Ben looked lost. I think he is a very good quarterback but its going to take him some time to carry a team.
I agree. Nobody can say the guy doesn't have heart. That first season when he broke the sack record, he took every single snap when he didn't have too. Most teams would have him on the sideline with a clip board his 1st year. The guy even stays in games when a coach would usually pull his franchise back not to risk any injuries. Those little extra 4th quarter playing times will pay off one day. The only rant i have is people complaing about his delivery. One second people say he's as tough as Favre. Then they diss Carr's delivery. Well, it looks about like the same thing to me and i don't see too many passes getting swatted down. So what's the problem? Other than the line of course.
I ordered a book on brain types, Your Key To Sports Success, the website has some information, but that book goes into a lot more detail and it tells you plenty of athletes brain types. It's great for fans, as far as making predictions and talking about sports, and if you're just curious about braintypes in general. That's a great example of his leadership, showing his teammates that he's not going to let sacks hurt his spirits, showing his toughness in always getting back up. I remember thinking that the Texans should have drafted Joey Harrington, that was before I knew anything about brain typing, now Harrington might have a good season finally, but how much of that will be because of Rogers, Roy and Mike Williams? Arguably the three top WRs to come out these past three years. Carr has one of the best mental wirings a quarterback can have, he won't attempt to drill passes in between defenders like Favre or run around for huge gains like Vick. His conservative approach to quarterbacking and life in general will judge the risks as too big regardless of the reward, but he will always be a smart, low mistake QB and a great leader. That approach is typical of plenty of other ENTJs in coaching, like our very own Jeff Van Gundy who despises turnovers and dumb basketball in general. It would be a big mistake on the Texans part if they gave up on him and a big mistake on Texan's fans part if they ever turn on him. He'll just end up leaving and shining somewhere else like Steve Young and Trent Green, both ENTJs, did after leaving their first teams in the NFL. Favre? he along with plenty of other QBs like Peyton Manning, Michael Vick, John Elway, Jake Plummer, and Troy Aikman have the best brain type for quarterbacks, ESTP.
Just say no to Rag One! And no to Bee Jay as well. Carr is firmly in the driver's seat. On the radio here in Dallas 103.3 ESPN, they would gladly trade QB's with the Texans. They have Bledsoe.
