With the O-Line we have, he is putting up some damn nice numbers. And being #1 in QB rating doesn't hurt either.
Based on the preseason I thought he was going to be awful, he has been the opposite, playing great despite a below avg o-line, ZERO running game, a defense that can't get him the ball back, playing a brutal schedule, learning a totally new system. He's on pace to throw for 3,460 yds, which will go up, 28 tds and 8 int. The 2 picks he has thrown, the one yesterday, the DB just wrestled the ball away from AJ, and the other one was where he ws frustrated after that penalty that took away the TD fumble ret. he just threw it up in double coverage to try and make something happen, and AJ might even come down with it. Carr has been great, and he's gonna get better as the rest of the team improves. I'm very proud of him so far.
