    Wasn't Luis Scola playing for the same Spanish team Andersen is?

    It's an interesting summer.

    David Anderson + Trevor Ariza + Budinger + Taylor - Yao Ming - Ron Artest - Von Wafer. Whoa did we take a hit this summer. But besides Yao Ming getting injured the Artest and Wafer loss were calculated by management for improvement.

    Uhmmm, this team will be the antesisis of what the NBA tries to ram down our throats. But, the Rockets will resemble more of an International club with ball movement and solid defense. This team just does not have a face yet; without McGrady, Yao, or Artest the NBA is going to be confused.

    Yes but we do not have;

    Yao
    T-Mac
    Mutumbo
    Artest
    Wafer

    All 5 of these guys (assuming healthy) played most of the minutes in all games (exception of wafer and mutumbo but both who go ample play time)

    So in a sense it is from scratch because Morey's original plans are obviously not what unfolded.

    Not a free agent, but a trade.

    Wojnarowski (Yahoo NBA guy) was on the Rome show today. They discussed the Artest/Ariza "swap" and he wasn't taking the Rockets seriously this season and even beyond.

    I'm certainly not going to predict the Rockets will make the playoffs this year (with what we know as of now) but I'm damn sure not going to say we won't, and this team is incapable of more than pleasant mild surprises.

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I heard that. It would take a hell of a dream, or pay rise to get me out of Barcelona.
