LOL well its understandable, DM said there's no problem with paying the tax line and when you said they're not paying it you basically called him a liar. I don't know how much heat you got though, its probably because you're such a polarizing figure you'd get heat from your haters no matter what you do or say.

As to the fluffy things, I really can't remember an incident where DM lied to the public. IIRC he just keeps his mouth shut whenever he doesn't want something known. Care to refresh my memory? :)

Carl Landry needs a knee scope, Yao's foot is healing fine (when they had already applied for a medical exemption), Les is willing to pay the Lux tax (this may be true this year, and many believe him, I do not).

    ;)

Wow, great move for a change. Statistics show that even a broken clock is right twice every day.

Timing was everything here. I honestly thought we'd have to give a second round pick with DA to get rid of him. Without the trade deadline and luxury tax looming, Morey was able to sell high on DA before our salary dump partner got more leverage.

This also might mean Morey is downgrading his expectations of trading for a superstar. DA's contract might have been needed to match money.

One way or another he gets traded to Toronto, but instead of Bosh, we get a 2nd round pick.

I wonder what Morey's 2015 draft board looks like.

Sweet, a second round pick is a second round pick. Time will pass and eventually we'll have it. In the mean time, we dump a stiff and shave cap space. Maybe Les will be willing to spend the money somewhere else. You never know.

They would have saved even more money if they just bought out Andersen for the partial guarantee. Then, they get to keep the the difference in the buyout of Andersen and the $3 mil cash consideration to the Raptors.

The pick is worthless. The Clippers have to be the 6th-10th best team in the league for us to get it.

How did we acquire David Andersen (and Chase Budinger, and Jermaine Taylor) in the first place?
