I wouldn't. There's still an hour to go. You might die.

Now that we have a backup pg - I'm all for trading anyone not named Yao, Tracy, Scola, Rafer or Landry. I'd like to save Battier for an Artest insurance body but we need a bigger splash than BJ to compete.

The only team showing interest in Artest is Denver and it looks like they're holding out on dealing Kleiza.

IMO if a last minute surprise deal is done for Artest the only teams with the assets are Denver, Suns, or GSW. Suns & GSW have TEs to pull it off.

Chad Ford doesn't seem to have any whiff of a Houston deal being out there.

the fans on this site glorify brooks like he is some kind of chirs paul/deron williams, thinking he is the future or something...lol....the guy was projected to go in the second round, and his shooting is worse than rafer, he is a scrub, we can pick up another one next year

according to him, the kings really want brooks, so if anything does happen, brooks would have to be included in the deal.

maybe morey will call in the last second and give up brooks??

Why would this team not try for contention for freaking aaron brooks? He's a freaking nobody in the nba!

good lord the rockets orginization are a r****ded bunch. all they do is pick up washed up undersized and old point guards.

No team in their right mind would hold on to an unproved rookie over a chance to get better now, especially with the west being so brutal.

This is a brain fart organization

I would too as Battier is a more important commodity on this team right now.

Francis and Snyder plus a first and either Head or Brooks.

I would too. The chance of a undersized point guard to be anything great in the NBA is slim to none. Battier on the other hand is a proven first team defender. And he works well with T-Mac and Yao.

I have no problem giving up Brooks in a deal for Artest. He's a nice find at the end of the draft, but he's replaceable. What else we would have to give up and Artest's willingness to sign an extension are bigger concerns. That being said, I think he's worth the risk.
