He also thinks D-Will and Howard will sign with Dallas for 10-12M apiece, which is patently ridiculous. There is no way that happens. At best Dallas could get one of the two, probably D-Will if that happens.

actually no the preceding years and next year (if there is a 2013) the trade deadline would have been in february so discussing it in march would not be relevant at all.

I feel like Scola and at least 2 of our "assets" are on their way out.

We read the same headings every trade deadline and draft night. We normally get the same results too.

Minor trade in the works.......all smoke no fire.

With the 14th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select.......

With it taking 2 to actually trade, why the hell do idiots say "We heard this before!!"

The **** do you expect from teams if they won't trade with you/agree to your terms? [IMG]

I fear for this BBS when the official word comes. I will probably smell the disk drives burning from CA.

Well, at least you can guarantee that it'll never be boring with the Houston Rockets at the trade deadline.

I think we're basically trade sluts by this point.

To people who don't follow the Rockets this is news... I'm not sure why people are suprised or commenting on this like it's so repetitive. The world, as much as we wish it would (or maybe not), doesn't revolve around the rockets.

This time a trade has to happen that could give up 5 to 6 players... due to 9 expirings.

    Now I am completely confused:

Ken Berger: "The Rockets, who also are exploring scenarios that would bring Dwight Howard to Houston on the hope that he could be persuaded to stay beyond this season, have been assertive in their pursuit of Gasol."

Don't hit refresh and don't believe a thing you hear, from Aldridge, Woj or Morey himself, for at least five more days. These things tend to happen at the deadline, not a week out. And if there's a rumor out there chances are someone put it there in order to make a whole other thing happen.

How many times have we seen the trades coming? How many have been predicted? The small ones defy prediction because the possibilities are virtually infinite and the big ones tend to come out of nowhere.

Free agent signings are a whole other thing but we are apparently not tall enough to ride that ride anymore.
