Dave Grohl is the most underrated musician of all time

agree. i love watching his performance there. and he was only like 19!

 

I think he's probably closer to being overrated than underrated.

I loved what he did in Nirvana, I loved the first two Foo Fighters albums, I liked a lot of what he did with Queens of the Stone Age....but I don't really like much of what he's done the past 13 years since then.

Now don't get me wrong, that's quite a lot, more than most musicians will even dream of accomplishing. However, for how he's often regarded, I'm not sure if that's enough.

ima drummer as well and it took me a good year of practice before i felt comfortable playing it. its difficult to get the feel right, but once you lock in its super fun to play.

Yeah, man. It's like golf - easy to play but REALLY HARD to master. The key is to stay relaxed, which is really hard to do with everything going on between the hihat and snare ghost notes.

My kid's band is playing Fool in the Rain. He says it's easy and already pretty much has it down. Took me YEARS to get it and he's 14 and already has it. A-hole...
