How well does she know you? I would think that would be sort of scary for a girl if she doesn't know you that well. 'Why is he taking me here at night?'
I think it's a great idea for a Sunday afternoon when she's not working or something. Keep it in the queue for date #2. As far as this date goes, why not take her to a sushi restaurant in town or something? That way, you can drink and eat and everything, and you won't have to worry about what time the place closes and everything? I typically don't like going to conventional bars on a first date since you're gonna be doing a lot of talking.
More like mugging in the park. Before it became discover green, there was two rows of trees with a walking area across from the Hilton. I went there one night with my now husband and it was scary as hell, but fun. Not a first date thing though.
Yeah 9pm is a bad idea! I got mugged around that time with my fiance 5 years ago. I'm sure she will be fine with whatever you decide as long you're uber cool.
Bring her to the thadeus and you will forever remain in her thoughts. Also, leave the finger paints when you drop her off.
Is Finger Paint in the park some kind of code word for something? Take her to the Adult Mega Plex and at that exact moment is when you guys decide where the night goes.
I used to hang around Hermann Park late at night all the time? I never noticed anything fishy ever going on. Not many bums in the Museum district right?
u are *way* overthinking this 1st date imo you have to let the game come to you, it is a hollywood myth that the first date should be some cheesy cute romantic idea take her to a restaurant/bar and just chat
Hermann park should be fine after nine - in fact, they are running shows at Miller Outdoor Theatre every weekend - so you can see the new facelift of the hill and catch a show...drink some wine...and do some fingerpainting when the show is boring. Date on the hill under the stars is very nice. They are running HIT's theatre production of Beauty and the Beast this week Chinese acrobats on the 24th. Or Indian dance 25th. The show doesn't matter that much. It's just nice to go out and enjoy the park and theatre setting - and its all free. Miller Outdoor Theatre Schedule
