The more I think about this(which so far has been entirely too long), it makes sense for Morey to at least have an account here and loosely follow some of the insider rumors...plus he gets my sage advice for free. It all makes sense...
Lol. Cross reference it with his known interests... Ping pong, Bill James, Musicals? As long as you know that there is at least one real Muri account, I don’t think it would be that hard. Ofcourse, I’ve heard the government and other companies leave breadcrumbs or the application is to find the security flaw or something like that. Amoree should make a promo that if someone can figure out his identity on clutchfans each year, that person would get season tickets or something like that. Would be fun.
here's another view. Morley starts as asst gm in 2006, becomes gm in 2007. No time for @tinman 's shenanigans that first year. Instead takes that first year, year and a half to work his ass off getting familiar with the organization and with Les, etc., so he possibly doesn't join CF until after about a full year of being GM and relaxing a bit. So I'd open up the suspect pool to include the 2008 cohort as well.

Possible he put his real birthday down when he signed up. It lists “today’s birthdays” on the members section of this site. We can just wait until September 14th and see what accounts might be his....

This is just silly. Why would Morey have an acct here??? What he may do is have one of his associates keep a tap on the fan base "mood swings". You know as public relationship, to get a sense of how rockets fans are reacting to trades, signing, or changes made to the organization.
I can only imagine the amusement that Daryl and his team get out of reading some of the threads, and even some of the insider info, posted here.
That's what I thought you'd do, Morey. (But then again, you seem to like having some fun with CF fans sometimes.)
I'm leaning towards DM being someone like @ch44 . He drops little nuggets to keep CF in the know and not chasing too many red herrings during times where there are potential moves. We can chose to heed them or not. So 3) would be more activity near relevant deadlines.
