I dont mind failing on Butler, I feel like the Rox are like the Raptors this year now that GSW is gone who can stop them? The problem is all the big fat mouths of Morey and the FO. I mean why not just keep quiet and do work? I'm one of the biggest Morey supporters on this board but even I am getting tired of all talk, no game. Promising fireworks and the pick of FAs and leaking the confidence in Butler signing wtf why are the Rox even putting it out there? Morey and his team always come off as extremely insecure so they put all these bluster to compensate just freaking keep your mouth shut and let your moves do the talking. I dont mind all the interviews and appearances Morey does but all these leaks are embarrassing.
You can only drink so much koolaid before that it starts to taste sour, not that Clutch is a koolaid drinker, lol. I think we'll better off rounding the rough edges instead of going for the moon next time.
Well, we’re still a better team than the Heat. Butler just wanted to be the man rather than the #2. It does seem like people don’t want to play with Harden for some reason too. I am worried we haven’t been able to get any more shooters or athletic length. Hopefully we can make a trade mid season. Losing another significant hopeful free agent again really hurts.

I agree and I def think Morey is one of the top GMs but the big mouths of the org is irritating and annoying. Just cuz you think the dude is one of the best doesn't mean he is perfect. I am getting tired of all these empty promises and failed hype buildups nobody put pressure on that Brown dude and Morey to say stuff like "We're getting our picks of FAs" "There will be fireworks" etc they could have just said they were gonna get predatory and maximize flexibility and nobody would get hyped. TBH this offseason is a success so far CF is moaning and groaning like usual but we got Rivers on a 2 year deal and we got House on a 3 year deal, it's freaking awesome so far but since the FO promised the world everybody is flipping out.
