    My understanding is that owners are allowed to pay GM's fines, but not allowed to pay player's fines.

    GM's salaries are not subject to the CBA salary cap. Player salaries are. So owners can give GMs extra monetary gifts whenever they want, but they can't do that with players.

    Keyword there is about. Don't think it's anything serious. I don't remember reading about Morey talking about anything at all. Anyone have a link about what he's referring to?

    he posted on twitter and then also there was the article Woj put out (or tweet) where he said Morey screamed when Dwight called him and Morey said he wasnt very presidential.

    I didnt know it wasnt allowed to talk about free agents under the moratorium

    I don't think it matters after the player has signed. That would be illogical, but I don't put anything below stern.

    I thought it was when Morey came out and said Dwight has not signed with the Rockets, at least to his knowledge. I don't think he will or should get fined for it given the situation the media put Dwight in.

    I think since D12 hasn't officially signed with us. Even though everybody in the world knows he's going to be a Rocket. Free agents can't sign until 7/10.
