he's setting the tone to build Tmac's value back up by acting as though he intends to keep him. No one will give him a good deal if he can't put confidence in him. He's pulling the wool over the eyes of other organizations with the media.
No other rookie starterhas won a championship since....BUT, all that matters is getting a guy thats better than what you have rookie or not.
I wouldn't get anyone's hopes up, but if it's a trade of any kind, maybe Morey underestimated how long it would take the league to review it or even see the paperwork, and announced a press conference too soon. Maybe? Just saying.
wasnt prince a starter for the pistons? I knew he came off the bench for that team but I thought in the playoffs he ended up moving into the starting 5 because of his play. I could be wrong though
