This is 100% the reason I made this thread, I don't WANT him to fire Morey, I want him to allow Morey to clean up his mess and bring in a quality coach.

I can't believe Morey would choose Bickerstaff, when Thibs and JVG are out there...

Harden more than ANY OTHER PLAYER needs a coach to hold him accountable...

Bickerstaff is more of the same......and IMHO, that could cost Morey his job.

I agree it's just hard after such a good shooting game and looking like we were going to cruise to a win tonight. The team is good we scored very well the defense wasn't bad but the rebounding killed us and that's why we lost we only had 5 offensive boards they had 15 normally we get 35% of our missed shots that wouod have been worth and extra 10 points tonight and a 6-8 point win.

One of the worst defensive rebounding teams last year, one of the worst defensive rebounding teams this year. Nothing has changed.

I'm not entirely convinced that Bickerstaff was 100% Morey's call.

Yeah, that is my worry that Les has basically gone...welp, this is your team, you hired McHale - you either get it done, or I am going to find someone else.

I think that would be a mistake, the one thing Morey has done very well is that he has learned from his mistakes and corrected them quickly.

While Les may be unhappy, we all are, actually, he needs to not let this season go by tying Morey's hands.

Bring in Thibs, or JVG - and see what happens, by the end of the season they will be playing much better.

Les: "It's time to let Kevin go. But since we gave him that inane extension, you'll have to find a replacement that earns less than Dekker."

The thing is if Alexander really loses it and let us say fire Morey I could almost guarantee he is going to hire a Yes man GM, another failure.

He should just sell the team to a happy go lucky type of owner if he is constantly unhappy.

I would not mind another Steve Ballmer

    99ers rule.

    Don't want jvg back though.

I remember the brick throwing offense.

I only blame Morey for hiring Mchale, but I hope J.B Bickerstaff makes up for it. I personally think that Ty Lawson, Corey Brewer,Terrence Jones and D-Mo's absence are the reason we are 12-13. I hope D-Mo's return and presence helps the Rockets win. They better trade or release Terrence Jones, I am done seeing his mediocrity out there, and find a way to trade Corey Brewer. Ty Lawson could still help, just give him the ball more, let him quarterback the team and we'll be fine. That's what he wants.

There is no doubt that Coach JB has helped the team improve substantially. On the other hand, considering how turrible they started the season and how bad they are playing in recent games, that's not saying a whole lot.

If Bickerstaff is unable to enforce Fundamental Effort on D and Rebounding and get the team to be more focused/disciplined within the next 5-10 games, it would be wise to consider other options because a new coach should have enough time to implement their system and principles to get a good seed and avoid the top seeded Spurs & Warriors (fortunately most of the Western Conference has been meh). A silver lining in all of this is that, "It's more important how you finish the season then how you start" however with GS & SA having such strong starts it would be ideal and likely critical to avoid them in the first and second round at all costs in order to maintain aspirations of a Championship.

that's a sunk cost at this point DoD, my way round this is watch other nba games, to my surprise there's plenty of teams out there that try on D and move the ball and players on offense and the double bonus is you don't have to listen the 3 worst commentators in the league, heart breaking but there is some decent ball being played around the league.

Way better.....I mean WAY better than the layup line up we see every night with the current coaching staff.

And those teams played hard for 48 minutes.

So yeah, JVG over any of these turds.

I just can't go there, I watch every game hoping this is the one they get their **** together and go on a run.

My 13 year old laughs at me, saying "Dad, no rage typing"....lol...

Yeah, well, at least I don't yell anymore.

    :)

DD I understand what you're feeling. I just don't see any hope this team is no where from last year and to have the same pieces it scary. It's frustrating to watch them everynight and lose to teams that are horrible. I live in Dallas and had to buy the NBA league pass and now I'm in the dog house with my wife bc of this team. Lastnights game just shows they have no heart. Lawson is lost , Dwight is yelling " no one is moving" it's like they are in training camp.
