    Just so I'm clear here....

    You are advocating making it more unlikely we can sign restricted free agents we value in order to not potentially make GM's from another team upset?

    Is that about the gist of it?

    exactly. trying to acquire talent at the expense of other teams is just being mean and i don't see other gm's standing for it. if morey wants to be a good gm, he needs to start giving other teams lopsided trades to hook their gm's up so that maybe they'll say nice things about us which could help with other gm's in the future. once he gets enough "likes" from these moves then trading for a superstar shouldn't be that hard.

    I don't disagree with this opinion...except to say I'm just glad the "shuffling" is over. I hated it.

    Then we tank / start over, which is what a large percentage of this board was calling for.
