Rob Mahoney got some pretty interesting quotes from Morey on Harden's extension, Ryan Anderson's role in the offense, and our potential injury woes.

    On Harden:
It's been talked about here before, but I think the goodwill this extension creates is the first step in fixing our image/perception around the league.
    Ryan:
After watching Anderson's highlights, his arsenal of moves is really impressive and will be on full display both in iso situations and as Harden puts pressure on the defense, creates mismatches and sets up easy looks for him. Morey also touches on his defensive shortfalls, which you can't really sugarcoat (even if Morey tries to ;) )

i'd be happier is ryno was our 4th or 5th option on offense, rather than our second.

a healthy dmo is so important to this team because his post game is worthy of being a second option that can also create for shooters.

Meh I wouldn't be surprised if Clint, Gordon, Ariza and Anderson all average a similar number of attempts next season.

And if Dmo stays and stays healthy and gets back to playing like he did for that half season then he too will probably be in that jumble.

Interesting article. Another in treating tidbit is that DMO's name was not mentioned once. Corey Brewer and KJ McDaniels names were dropped I the article. Even Nene got some love.

I wonder if that omissions means some thing or nothing.

Morey may just not want to speak about a player that he's in open negotiations with.

There may be rules about talking about a player who is currently restricted and still free to sign with other teams. Good overall article though, it adds calmer feel to the grand plans.

Yes, that's EXACTLY what that quote says. Great job of reading between the lines.
