seems to be the main drive of these guys... can't wait to see Shane lead the charge with his band of scrappy players. THAT is a storyline.
I'm shocked that people are shocked that we have no national TV games. On a national level, why would ANYONE want to watch the Rockets next year? They may shock the world and be a very competitive team, but on paper, they're one of the absolute worst teams in the league. For those of you that will name off some other team like the Thunder having a game(s): they've got one of the most exciting young rosters in the league.
Actually who wouldnt want to watch Artest VS Ariza? For that matter Tmac VS Kobe if he does return? Battier/Ariza VS Artest/Kobe. That could get heated and a little physical. Scola and Brooks could get heated up and we send them home with a loss because we are pumped. Sounds like it could be exciting still.
On paper their one of the worst teams????????????????????????????????? That is ludicrous. I don't believe that even if they don't have Tmac or Yao, and Tmac is suppose to be back. Other guy posted earlier about how we had Yao for half of the series vs Lakers. Well, he was part of one win of that and probably helped to lose the 3rd game (though he tried) because he was hurt and not really helping, and I believe it might have cost us that game. Won two games without Yao (and Tmac). The team is a lot better than a bunch give them credit for and will still be a major impact team next year. Hopefully is true that Tmac will be back as well. They are not a lottery team by any means, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some national games added. It's stupid to not have any.
Just one more reason to outplay the crap of the competition. Play offense and especially defense like there is no tomorrow. Constant substitutions so that our guys won't be tired, and let's see what happens.
Thunder are gonna be good this year. And who'd but a Rocket fan would want to watch a Tmac-less and a Yao-less team?
this is going to be the most underrated team this year. we have championsip caliber players Ariza Scola Battier Andersen surprise surprise... i believe..
European basketball and the NBA are two different leagues with two very different styles of play. I don't think Anderson will be able to adjust this season, but we'll see.
On paper we shouldn't have won 22 in a row. On paper we shouldn't have gone 7 with the Lakers, but you hit the nail on the head. The national networks are looking at paper. People don't want to watch a TEAM win now a days. They want to see someone put up 50 even if his team loses. So sad.
True, but seriously...ZERO? This is very sad for someone who just relented a week ago and promised his wife he wouldn't get the NBA LP this year (planning on watch the ones that were nationally televised). D'OH...
