The biggest thing I gathered from this is the fact that he can and is already speaking to non-playoff teams, as in Toronto. It's possible and and almost likely that they have already had multiple conversations about a deal involving Bosh. Maybe we'll have a deal in place come July 1st, we would just have to convince Bosh.
If Toronto have leaked that they are intrigued by Jordan Hill, it's a safe bet that there have been discussions between them and the Rockets about Bosh. The only reason they would float a trial balloon is to judge fan reaction to the rumor, which means they are at least considering a package involving Hill.
(thanks for replying) There's no embed links in the title for me, right or left clicking. I tried Opera 10.0, k-meleon, Firefox 2.0, and even IE6 just to make sure. No go. Strange. If anyone has a direct link to the mp3 I would appreciate it.
Yeah that's the point I forgot to make. Morey comes on the radio and mentions that he is in trade discussions with non-playoff teams. Around the same time there are reports that the Rockets are targeting Bosh, and Toronto is intrigued with Jordan Hill. Coincidence???
when you click on that link, the play\embed\download buttons come up right below a pic of Morey. Try looking again. If that still doesnt work for you, here is a mediafire link to it Spoiler http://www.mediafire.com/?jznjjzndyyr
I don't think the fan reaction would have much to do with it. Jordan Hill is not going to sell tickets (yet), and they never thought that he would (yet). More like, he's part of the conversation, his name gets thrown around, and it makes it to some reporter.
he may not "sell" tickets but neither did al jefferson when he got traded for kg. the point is they're getting back someone who was the 8th overall pick this year and is clearly going to be a good player, if not VERY good. first off it's only natural for a team to want something similar back to what they're losing. hill has a very similar body build and potential skill set to bosh. they even have the same damn hair style; it just makes sense. the bottom line is this: if bosh gets signed and traded to the rockets, you can basically guarantee that hill is going to be a raptor.
I'm with you. If they do this, I hope they know what they're doing. I think Toronto may end up getting the best of this deal.
