seriously, i won't hype him. i would be very happy if he can be a solid rotation player.

This is what I was afraid of, Hill Has all the tools to be a Kevin Garnett, but he doesn't look interested at all. This was made clear when Clutch posted a video of Hill describing his Summer work out. He missed Hakeem's Big Man Camp because "He was at home". He didn't even have a good reason for missing it. Great to good players move around their schedule to gain basketball knowledge. Hill is going through the motions, I don't think his mental state will ever change. I think we have to stop thinking it will.

So much promise that rookie year. There has been little improvement since then. He really is shaping up to be Mikki Moore.

Hill has all the physical tools to be a really good big, but he lacks something that Noah has in abundance: passion for game and winning.

If he doesn't have the fire to improve (yeah, that he missed a chance to learn from Hakeem was beyond lame), then showcase his potential and trade his arse out of here before the league finds out.

Agreed, it's like Hayes can make mistakes like try to score and get blocked or travel, Martin can make mistakes like dissapearing in the 4th quarter, Lee can turn the ball over and scola can play bad defense but Hill makes ONE mistake and bam, your out of the rotation the rest of the game! He has to play perfect in order to get playing time.

Yesterday chuck held the ball again in the paint and started that little move where he tries to go to the basket, i called it right away, BLOCK! and sure enough he got blocked and lost the ball, so tired of seeing that ****.

It's a different kind of mistake. Hill doesn't even know where he should be on the court sometimes, and blows basic assignments too much.

I would say too that Miller knows his assignments, and the basketball IQ, passing ability is there. If alot of the plays are run through the center position than that also is going to limit Hill. My questions are who gives Hayes the green light to shoot? Why doesn't Battier look to shoot more? He is just enough a liability as Hayes if he doesn't make his man play D. I would say the Rockets players biggest issues are their roles when in a game. Who is first option, 2nd option, and so on. Here lately it appears as though when one player misses than the next guy takes a shot at it on offense, and it just keeps going last night Hayes was calling his own number????

No trades until at least 12/15? So, what - no worthwhile trades can be made when nobody is making anyone salivate (other than draft picks, of course).

We need players to get 'in demand' then we'll have a winning program, of course.

I don't think Chuck has the Green Light to shoot. It's a Read and React offense. Chuck and everyone else in the league knows he is terrible offensively. Defenders in turn over play the P'n'R or cheat off Chuck. Chuck tries to take advantage of this and calls his own number hoping to catch the defense off guard. Sometimes it works and sometimes it's comically depressing.

I believe that someone needs to outplay someone and make somebody else expendible... thats when teams get the best bargains for trades. Right now, everyone on the team is underperforming which makes it very hard to trade anyone.

I guess toronto and n.o. didnt hear morey, lol. The hornets dumped peja and his expiring contract for jack (starter),banks(expiring),andersen(expiring). I think bayless will finally get a legit chance, but i dont think he was the type of backup behind paul. Toronto got the best talent and n.o got a couple of easy to move, smaller contracts. Demps won on that one.

Really? NO already gave up a first round pick for Bayless and got mediocre talent for their one big expiring contract. Jarret Jack is only a starter on a bad team.

It sounds like you're describing Mario Williams in his first year-and-a-half.

A first pick for Jack is a good movement. Jack is a solid backup for Paul.

For Bayless, a first round pick and the biggest expiring contract they got, though? Come on, man.

Yeah that's true. Jarrett Jack and Chris Paul are best friends though. From a "keep CP3" perspective, it makes a lot of sense.
