Not neccesarily championship. But we DEFINITELY need to get past the 1st round this year. Regular season records mean absolutely nothing. If we don't, Morey's job needs to be seriously re-evaluated
All the McHale and Morey homers hold on to regular season record. Regular season is fools gold. More than half the teams in the NBA make the playoffs. Both their records are abysmal come playoff time

The Rockets are having a historic season for the franchise, have the current MVP (even if he wont win it), have manipulated the cap & have held on patiently to make some great in season acquisitions, have two surprising low ranking rookies helping out at a time they are needed the most, and have a coaching staff that took an abysmal defensive team, and made them much much better even without a healthy Dwight and having Omer as a luxury... Yet you continue desperately to rain down negativity on the GARM. Dude... I hate to break it to you but you're not a Rockets fan obviously. And who do you propose that we hire? Morey basically pulled a Macgyver this year and pieced together a roster that is a top 3 seed in a tough west. I don't think anything that happens in the playoffs can cancel that out.

FYI, ESPN ranked Morey 3rd of all GMs in the league...Some people are just too dumb to know how good we have it
If Les was dumb enough to fire Morey this Summer anyone want to guess how quickly he would be snatched up, and anyone want to make a guess at his salary?
It's fine not to be Pollyanna about everything. Being critical is a skill and generally an asset. But being negative is not. You should read up on some studies about positivity vs negativity. Seriously.
Don't have unwavering rose colored glasses either. The Dragic and Kawhi thing really heats my grits. The Canaan thing overcooks them.
