I thought a up tempo team's offense starts from a great defense. If you want a good up tempo team, you need a great defense. Our team's offense sucks whenever we can not do good defense.
What you have described is racism. Racism is judging someone by their race, not by their merits. It is what some folks consciously or subconsciously consider soft racism. In otherwords, its not Not the beat a black man and drag him through the streets racism. Lets put it this way. Lets say Jeremy Lin was black and SAS was white, and he is a "proud white man that favors white athletes and couldn't stand to see a black mag be the toast of his New York knocks". Let that marinade in your head for a while. Just a short while for it to become obvious that it is racism.
Good! Because when it comes to SAS, I've never heard a single intelligent, positive, or redeeming thing ever come out of his mouth. He is the septic filter of the sports world. He's rust on a robot's balls. He's toenail fungus. He's dog-bile. He's a skidmark on a pair of old drawers.
I'm an Asian American who grew up basically a black kid- yes I considered myself yellow on the outside and black on the inside. Most of my friends growing up were black kids because back then there weren't any Asians around and most of the white kids made fun of me. The black kids treated me great, I felt I was one of them. So I've always had a special affinity for Blacks. When Linsanity broke out last year I was dumbfounded by what I heard spewing out of the mouths of the likes of SAS. What he said was racist. there's no two ways about it it. I was dumbfounded because I felt that anyone who surely has felt the sting of racism at one time or another in his life would wish to rise above it and not be a racist himself. Unfortunately I was wrong. The way Jeremy was treated by many African Americans in the media was disappointing and really made me reevaluate the relationship between Blacks and Asians. Remember that SNL skit from last year about Linsanity? It was spot on.
