Alright, here's our options for the MLE - 2010, realistic options (mostly):

    JJ Reddick (restricted)
    Josh Childress (restricted)
    Anthony Morrow (restricted)
C.J. Watson (restricted) - good insurance policy
    Carl Landry (restricted)
    Joel Anthony (restricted)
    Randy Foye (restricted)
    Kyrylo Fesenko
    Kyle Korver
    Tony Allen
    Ronnie Brewer
    Brendan Haywood
    Brad Miller
    Mike Miller
    Zydranus Illgauskas
    Shaquille O'Neal (unlikely)
Josh Howard (if we lose Ariza or Battier in a trade, but he probably won't fall that far, and most dislike Howard on this board)
    Marcus Camby
    Raja Bell

JT is probably going to be given the opportunity to prove himself a little more at back up SG before they go and try and get another one to back up Martin.

He is working really hard. Good guy. He wants to succeed and is going to work hard to prove himself. Organization is still high on him.

The Rockets can only be high on Taylor. He hasn't shown anything to garner any trade value, has two more guaranteed years left on his deal, and the Rockets did fork out $2.5 million for his rights.

I'm a JJ fan, and would like to see him on our roster. Might happen, too, depending on DM's chess moves. If we don't get Randolph, Bosh, Amare, or some high-draft-pick big, I wouldn't be surprised to see the MLE go to Brad Miller.

Another possibility: Jordan Hill has made, and makes, progress over the summer-- so much so that DM and RA are content with our present stable of bigs. Then, IMHO, JJ becomes more likely. Or maybe DM has a true, big PG in mind...

According to the Rick Torbett better basketball commercial on NBATV, Redick is the greatest shooter of all time.

No thanks, especially for the MLE. I acknowledge his improvement, but we need a athletic center with size who can play defense, rebound and score some points.

I guess you missed all of the passing, driving, and playmaking in the video.

Scrub? Only talking about him because he's white?

Let's try at least to back up some of these claims with something, anything to help prove your point. Otherwise, it's really not adding much to the thread.

Reddick made huge improvements this year, his teammates even nicknamed him "payday" because they knew he improved and is due a raise this summer. He could always shoot, but now he's attacking, passing, and making really good decisions. He's not the best defender, but he has improved his team defense. He plays the angles real well (what is it with those Dukies) and is recovering quicker now through screens and after his man gets separation.

Knote, do you think he'll get the whole MLE from someone? I was thinking More in the ballpark of 3 yrs 9 mil like Landry got. Prob not quite that much but in the ballpark

Yeah I see him getting about 3 million a year from someone. I could also see a team giving him a shot at starters minutes for more money though, who knows? I think Orlando will match If the offers are fairly low...
