Memo to [insert any fan's name]: Just because you start talking about a draft prospect before it has been confirmed that a team has sent its executives to watch said prospect play doesn't mean that you somehow DISCOVERED that prospect and brought him to the attention of the team. NBA teams have plenty of scouts scouring the globe for talent and usually have at least some level of awareness long before the pre-draft process becomes "more public."

Sure, every now and then a prospect comes out of nowhere and is discovered by someone outside the traditional scouting community and who might be a blogger/poster on an NBA fan website.

But this isn't one of those times.

Morey has been really quiet this euro scouting trip. He hasn't been tweeting at all. Karnisovas is quiet too, he popped up for the occasional interview, or at least his presence at games got mentions by the media.

Morey was in Russia about a week ago. In between then and now he could have made a stop in France. The Rockets were rumored to be interested in the frenchman Rudy Gobert.

This kid is the real deal. And the things he needs to get better at can be improved on over time.

 

I think Batum is the best comparison. Both are pretty well-rounded and have similar body types. Batums probably the best case for Giannis

With this guy's hands I worry about Marfans. He might be like Jeff Green and have to sit out a year while they repair his ridiculously dilated aorta.

 

So, I guess we'll trade Jeremy Lin or something for this guy once he gets drafted by another franchise and plays ****ty.
