Big ups to you. The show isn't obscure (At least not on the internet. Ratings on the other hand...) but I figured the actual reference would be. It's one of my favorite quotes that never gets quoted.
Morey: Hello? BC: It’s Bryan from Toronto, how did the Chris Bosh wooing work out? Morey: **** him. What you been upto? hahahahahahahahah      that just my day, priceless
"seriously, the raps need to hire a VP of common sense. i’ll do it. pro bono. first order of business for the VP – no fielding of calls (let alone initiating calls) to GMs who are clearly out of your league (and yes, that would be pretty much all of them). BRYAN: you are allowed to deal with kahn in minny and any GM who is either brand-new to the job, working for a team in the midst of being sold, or clearly in over their head (caveat: moreso than you)."
A part of me really wishes that's how Morey responded. He's one BAMF, but that would elevate him even more.
I was liberated from having to watch all 82 of the Raptors games in Calagary. This doesn't include reruns on TNS, equivalent of ESPN. The Raptors play no D and shoot nothing but 3's all day long. I think they were 36 out of 32 teams on D. No D and rebounding Andersen looks great on this team. Another 7ft 3 point shooter who doesn't block shots or play D.
And mine also. I'm still laughing at that and the part where Morey doesn't know who David Andersen is.
Funny stuff! Morey: Oooohhh, Daaaavid Anderson…yeah, yeah…he’s really good..in fact, he and I had a photo shoot just the other day. Want a copy of one of the shots? Spoiler Respect to TheGoldenGreek...
Not to nitpick, but do you mean "Calgary" and "TSN", and there are 30 teams in the NBA, not 32. Ok fine, I'm nitpicking (probably because I don't like to see my hometown spelled wrong)! Anderson could actually be a decent rotation player for the Raps, but clearly he wouldn't have gotten much time at all with the Rockets with Yao's (hopeful) return, and Patterson also there to battle for minutes.
