Don't forget an aging Randall Cunningham's amazing 1998 season in which he posted a QB Rating of 106.

I seem to recall a certain rookie receiver on that Vikings team.

Revis has had a season for the ages.

I can't recently remember any CB who has came into a season and shut down every receiver he's face with same caliber of competition to Revis.

    Andre Johnson
    Randy Moss (2x)
    Chad Johnson
    Steve Smith
    Roddy White
    Terrell Owens

I don't think anyone would contend that Randy Moss doesn't make your QB better.

I'm positive Revis would do worse under the Raiders system and Aso would do better under the Jets system, but that's all hypothetical. Aso is the more physical player from what I see, but Revis is stronger at the press. Basically if you beat Revis's press you are probably going to beat Revis on the play, Aso is different. Aso will break down, so basically on a deep route and if a QB has time to throw it, Aso could get beat.

They are both incredibly hard to beat though, but I'd rather go up against Revis than Aso.

If he shut the other guys down, then yes.

I think he can blanket Wayne, but it will depend on whether Revis shadows him or just stays on whoever happens to be on his side of the field.

Peyton Manning can kill you with 2nd rate WRs as long as he has Dallas Clark over the middle and Reggie Wayne keeping the safeties honest.

Shoot Revis on Wayne is like a luxury to Manning. Its 10 on 10 football, their best defender is out of the mix, and now he can pick you apart with Addai, Garcon, Clark, Austin, Gonzales, or Kendra's husband. AND Wayne will still finish with 65 and a TD.

He is awesome but we need to give the other guys credit on the defensive side.

No pass rush = no shutting down receivers.

Depends on if they can get to Manning. Manning can pick the defense apart if his line can pick up the zone blitzes. If they were to play straight man to man on Wayne I think Revis could shut him down.

Maybe It's just me, but when I think of Revis, I think of Wayne at corner. I mean, neither is really gifted on the athletic side, but they are just very smart players that know their role and know how to play the game. That being said, I do believe Revis can shut him down, because I can't think of an advantage Wayne has over Revis, Revis is slightly more athletic but Wayne is more skilled at his position.
