I like Brazil, at Westheimer and Dunleavy. It's not really cheap, but the laid-back thing is there, and they have beer, wine, and food, and djs at night Mons? and so on. The granita is addicitive; much better than a frappuchino. Cafe Artiste has it's fans. Detering Coffee too, on Montrose or Westheimer. Tropioca tea house in mid town is nice. The tapicoa balls with a cappucino slushie is fantastic. Free internet, hangout site. Across the street, at the Hoa Binh mall, there's a new vietnamese coffee place with a french bakery. Looks like it might be nice.
