You need to brush up on your vocabulary.

That is not the definition of mediocrity.

What is your definition of the basketball being played now?

Thank gawd, Silas can call a timely timeout amirite?

That HAS to be your definition of a great coach.

Sometimes a coach can’t control when his best player plays badly, it is what it is. Your idea of a coach that can magically fix that is a fantasy.

The dude is so sad that he tries to disparage the man when he was just saying nothing but good things about the city. Truly pathetic of him to derail

yeah he was great.... here's attached photo from the ring award ceremony...

i expect more than statpadding from a championship caliber coach(context)

also imagine how good he would be if he knew when to call timeout or if he ever learns how to expand the rotation so that theres more than 6 and a half playable guys come playoffs....

You haters need to let it go.

You'd think we Rockets fans could all appreciate a coach who actually WINS games vs. the abomination we are dealing with right now.

Rick Adelman went to the WCF and was definitely successful before Houston.

Look what he did in Sac.

He's also been to the finals with Clyde a couple times in Portland. Not saying he wasn't a great coach and maybe given the talent might have taken us further than D'Antoni buutttt... he didn't.
Same reason why I hold Hakeem and Clyde over Harden. Those two gave us titles and took us further. D'Antoni took us further than Rick.
Out of curiosity to whoever suggested a video montage for D'Antoni.. what do you put in a video montage/ tribute for a coach? I mean with Mchale you can make like a 10 min video of him clapping.

Rick had to deal with Tmac and Yao who had half a foot. And he had a well balanced offense.

Loved how he stood up to Tmac

also the heart of that team with Ron and Yao was awesome
