    I was responding to someone taking a cheap shot at golfer Wie. Not my fault you have selective reading. I'm so hurt you mentioned I have a "rookie" tag. Okay I'm fine now. Whew. I'm sure you've NEVER watched an entire race so I have no idea why your so upset.

    Bunch of haters out here. Bet she would be anyone here in a race with regular passenger cars. She might even shake someone and make a move up close and make one of you crash into a wall out of fright.

    I don't see anyone here going bumper to bumper goin 15mph, much less 200mph.

    Hasn't she finished top 10 a lot? I don't know much about indycar, but every analyst I've heard talk about it says she is a very talented driver and is big business for the sport. The other day some guy was talking on (790 I believe) the radio about how he feared NASCAR was going to steal her.

    What is up with all the hate? She consistently was finishing in the top 5 her entire career, and now she finally won a race. I am happy for her.

    No hate just some silly jokes -- i'm excited with the IRL/ Champ car merger I think we are about to see a major revival of open wheel racing in the US. The IRL needs to take some of the advanced technology from the Champ cars and include more road courses that the circuit used for next season. For this year though the Indy 500 will certainly have a lot more hype and interest.

    Danica definitely got some major breaks moving up the ranks because of her looks and the need for a marketing 'face' for a struggling organization. She is hardly the first to get special treatment though as anyone named Foyt or Andretti seems to get a top ride just as easily.

    she's one of those people who has a personality who cannot be funny, as hard as she tries to get a laugh. so much awkward silence in this interview. i've seen her on talk shows alot, and it always ends up like that.

    she is hot as balls though. that's an odd pic from maxim.
