Dan Patrick tends to go overboard. He will ask a tough question, the guy will answer and then Patrick interrogates him for the rest of the interview about that one answer instead of asking more tough questions. It seems like Patrick's job is to try and get the guy to reverse his statement. Whenever I watch his interviews, I always end up thinking that nothing was accomplished in that interview. His Hot Seat interviews are better though.
Dan Patrick's interviews also make me feel uncomfortable. I remember the night after Joe Horn's cell phone celebration, Dan interviewed Joe and it was a full fledged interrogation how moral and unsportsman like it was. I was thinking to myself, "chill Dan, damn." It was like he was talking down to Joe for the celebration.
Agreed! See, that is what I was talking about earlier. Instead of letting the answer die he keeps prodding. Enough is enough. That is the problem. Trying to stir the $hit. Agreed, the Hot Seat interviews are better because they are more structured and he can't prod as much.
