Patrick Swayze now would be a better LT. Governor... at least he wouldn’t look like an ******* on national television every couple of weeks.

 

Yes and the weak shoulders... has hips like a woman and a gut like a sloppy female... couple that with him trying to hard to be a “tough Texan”, with the cowboy boots and ropers.... when the truth is that he is an exceptionally effeminate Yankee from Baltimore named Dannie Scott Goeb that trolled for rod at gay bars in Houston.

He is fake, he has spent his whole life trying to be someone he is not.

 

Yes, I recall hearing him on the radio a couple of times. I can't imagine that fellow turning out to be someone in a powerful position in our state's government, more powerful that the governor in some ways, yet Dan Patrick has talked his way there.

Twisted, ruthless and ambitious. A strange man who will say literally anything that he thinks will advance him politically, no matter how dishonest or stupid it is. Certainly knows his audience well enough and his audience isn't most of us. Not a good commentary on the attention your average voter in Texas actually pays to those running for office.

There were long rumors and Patrick was caught in an email chain confronting another prominent politician for spreading rumors about his sexuality. I have no idea if he is or isn’t interested in men other than there were whispers about it when he had his radio show. If I remember right he also was accused of attacking the wife of someone and was beaten up as a result.

 

Was just talking about this with a buddy that's much older. At one point he's like Texas was blue, but back then we didn't call it blue. Anyway, Abbott, Patrick and company suck. I'm tired of then running my state too.

 

You guys don't forget Ken Paxton in your horrible Texan count.

Not one person but as a group I would throw the Texas Railroad Commission in there.

 

Don't forget the bible-thumpers on the State Board of Education

For me it's a tight race between Patrick, Paxton and Sid Miller for most embarrassing state-level Texas politician.

If you want to go federal it's hard to top Gohmert, but Cruz is right there with him.
