That is probably true. But you have to consider, how would you feel as an owner if Lebron pissed on you like that?

Dude looked uncomfortable and like he was about to cry when they showed him they were burning his jerseys.

Cleveland will most likely win a championship - assuming the NBA exists for long enough. But, that tidbit was obviously rhetoric.

My guess was the Cavs would turn into trash without LeBron. After Gilbert's rant, I'm sure of it. No player in their right mind would want to go there. The Cavs will turn into the T-Wolves.

It really doesn't matter how Gilbert feels. He should not have publicly ranted like this. Very unfortunate and he will eventually regret it, if he hasn't already.

    It's how he did it......

I may disagree with Yao Ming Fans about a lot of things, but the one thing I do agree with them about is the man has CLASS...

What Lebron, Wade and Bosh did was as classless and disrespectful as you get.

Now the interesting part will be how the NBA family deals with the Heat...

You do realize that NBA teams trade players on the very last minute without them knowing.. Hell they can be in a Movie getting a txt message stating hey I heard you got traded.. Or when a Radio station gets the news before the player..

NBA teams do it.. So why can't the damn players do it.

Exactly. To win a championship, you need big time players. Gilbert just shat on those chances. Yep the new Minnesota lolz

He knew all along he was going to sign with the Heat!! If you don't believe that you must be on crack. He dragged this out just for the attention, because he is an attention w****! He went on national television to make his decision. You don't do that if you are not staying with your same team. That's just classless. And above all he took the easy way out!! He could have been remembered as a legend in Cleveland. Now he is just going to be remembered as a **** rider who went to Miami.

Hell Brent Barry was told on a season ticket-holder event cruise.... he said it was the single most embarrassing moment in his life. So much so he did not even want to ride back on the boat.

It's kind of funny how an owner/management can trade whoever the hell they want to better suit their team without caring for the players best interest. Cleveland had their chances and still failed. Lebron has an opportunity to take matters into his own hands for the first time in his career by looking out for himself and decides to sign with a team that has the bet chance at winning a championship. I just don't see how it's any different. The Cavs should be grateful to James and move on. The city completely sucks and the owner is just being a baby.

Is it not true Bosh said he would want to play anywhere but Cleveland? The city really does suck!

IMO, it's attention whorish, but that's not the same thing as classless and disrespectful. I think they've been pretty respectful. There's been a lot more disrespect coming from players in the past against their former organizations: T-Mac, Shaq, Vince Carter, Steve Francis, Iverson, Barkley, Pippen...hell that's just off the top of my head. The real disrespect and lack of class here is coming from Dan Gilbert and certain Cavs fans. That said, if extreme attention whoring is considered classless, then I understand that.

But the collusion factor isn't anything new. Barkley tried to get Gary Payton here back in 97.
