Still counts on the 15 man roster, a spot needs to be opened up to fit ED on the roster.

Now what is the rule again, if Ish passes through waivers, can he go to the D-League then?

I like the signing, though it doesnt bode well for Hill's prospects of seeing the court.

Yep, and a healthy Yao can be the little blue pill to make it go away.

Statistically, he is virtually identical to Miller, if you rate the number of points scored against him per 100 possessions. But yeah, for Dampy, it's probably 12 foot jumpers going over his sleepy face and barely raised arm. Not 6 foot jump hooks. Whoopee.

Thank goodness we got rid of JVG, that guy never played rookies. always opting to bring in washed up vets.

I dearly hope it is wrong. We really want a guy who's goal the last two months was avoiding training camp, avoiding getting to know a new team. Nice.

I trust Morey, but have always hated this idea (if you can't tell!)

I can't believe the amount of people who just believe in Bill Ingram as a source and talk like the signing would already be confirmed.

The guy has shown time and time again over the last 12 years or so that he has no idea and just makes stuff up.

Now, it might still happen at some point, but then it would just be a lucky shot in the dark by the guy.

Seriously, I am beginning to get concerned about Hill. I know they wanted him to be more aggressive and I thought he showed that toward the end of the preseason but this will nail him to the end of the bench, if it happens.

Rick plays rookies and young players so that isn't the issue, look at AB, Landry and Bud so it's something else. Not to get at least 1 minute vs the Warriors concerns me a GREAT deal.

I know we make fun of D'Antoni for calling him a "bad" rookie but did he have a point about something we just don't know about. Is there an attitude issue maybe or laziness?

I agree but Alex Kennedy, one of their more reliable guys, did follow it up by confirming they were close but it wasn't a done deal. I'd call it likely but again not a done deal.

Also, please please cut Jermaine Taylor. If only because Jeffries expiring contract could prove extremely valuable in a trade.

The player who really needs to go to the D league is Jermaine Taylor. Houston has high hopes for him but he has never performed that good unless its in the D League :(

Wouldn't we rather rid ourselves of JT, considering the potentially chronic back issues that KLow has?

I would, it might depend who the powers that be see as having better upside and from what I've read and seen that might be Ish so JT maybe the odd man out.

    I smell a trade looming.

Will Ish report to Rio Grande?

Yes!!!!!!!!!! About time, Dampier already gave us 2 loses for not presenting his defense in those 2 games, I expect our rebounding problem to be solved with this signing, no more easy points in the paint now when Yao goes out. Lakers you have a problem, Houston just Matched up with La's Bigs!

How about we rid ourselves of our 6'3 Defensive stopper at center?
I mean if Hayes is so "valuable"( he plays ahead of 2 lottery picks) lets cash in. WE SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO GET A MEASLEY 1ST ROUNDER FOR HIM? A lotto pick maybe? ;)
