Hill hasn't even seen playing time!

Something has to be up with him not playing at all

First off, if this does happen, then it's a solid move. The Rockets would be able to stick to their 24 minute limit on Yao without losing much rim presence on defense when Damp is on the court.

Second, I have a feeling people are over-thinking the hell out of this. When Yao is available to play, the rotation would still be Yao/Miller at Center, with Damp getting spot minutes in key situations if the Rockets need defensive presence at the rim and Yao has exceeded that 24 min limit. When Yao isn't in the lineup, I think the rotation would then be Damp/Miller.

That's my feeling on it at least.

Okay ... who is the "you" in the original poster's moniker referring to? It's not me. Maybe DaDakota?

If you were in this board long enough, you will know that rumors from therocketguy of hoopsworld.com were guaranteed a false one!

CBS didn't confirm nothing. They mention the RocketsGuy article on Hoopsworld. That's where all of this is coming from. I'd probably even bet this news is false and he won't be signing with us. It could be he's using us as leverage.

CBS basically report it based on the report from hoopsworld.com. That's mean CBS is not the source whereas hoopsworld is the source!

why is everyone talking about cutting players like Smith, Hayes, or Jeffries?

Cant we just send Patterson to the D-League?

DOUBLE NEGATIVE. So that means you secretly believe that the Dampier report is true and you can't wait to see him in a Rockets uniform and/or nude.

Good pick up. We need a tree in the middle who can rebound and stop lay up drill. Look at it this way. He's more experience than hill and taller than hayes. Those easy lay ups hayse got against the warriors will be monster dunk to change the momentum of the game

This blows  , I know we need size but play Hill.

I do not want to lose Smith especially with Lowry injured.

No, sending a player down to the D-League still counts as one of the 15 players on the roster.

The only source for this rumor in any google reference is the H**psw*rld article.

While this is reason enough to discount it as true, let's hope this would be the first time Bill the R*cket Guy gets something correct with his "throw-everything-against-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks" approach.
