Makes sense,not having him around. He could have helped some on defense,but was more likely to be a distraction and a trouble maker.

The one fairly indisputable fact is that of the two players, JT and Dampier, Dampier would have played more significant minutes than I project JT to. While this isnt a all deciding factor in determining which player to have, it does illustrate who has the most immediate worth. Or which player fills the more immediate need.

Whoever Dampier plays for i hope he doesn't play well as far as defense and rebounding. That would hurt and be another stupid decision. I know Brad Miller sucks at rebounding and staying in front of his man and at this point so does Yao in crucial moments of the game. So we going to depend on Jordan Hill alone pretty much WOW! Scola works hard but he can't jump nor is he athletic. This is the NBA you have to have athleticism in the paint somewhere to. Dampier is not super athletic but he is moreso then Yao, Miller and Scola. We need to do something else if we not picking up Dampier. Standing pat is settling for medocrity.

 

Some Key things happend:

Brooks is out for as long as six weeks.

Klow7 is having back issues and cant be depended on right now.

Those 2 factors have caused Ish to become the starting point, which creates the need for Lee to play 10-15 minutes at the point at minimum till Kyle or Aaron is ready to play again.

That 10-15 minutes of playing time at the 2 all of a sudden gives Jt value to the club that was not present two weeks ago.

Also the Rockets where not in position of strength negotiating with the other teams who had interest to make a offer on Jt. That factor was almost certainly lowering the quality of deals we where being offered.


I think JT will be on this team till we are able to work a trade for a 3 who can play minutes at the 2.

 

They would still count as roster spots on the Rockets even playing with RGV. Someone needs to be cut before anyone else can play on the Rockets.

 

Okay, since "Ish" has become our starting PG with Brooks out, he needs a nickname that will give him some confidence and clout in the league.
