Yea, its on now. This team is officially stacked. Players will finally be playing their natural positions and chemistry at some point should really flow.

You maybe on to something, this offer has been on the table since opening night and Dampier has just been thinking about it. Hill has not played in either game, which to many made NO sense, what if they have a deal in place to move Hill and wanted to avoid injury? We have a log jam at the 4 and 5 positions and like you said, Hill has more value.

Highest bidder = the team that would charge the least for taking JT off Morey's hands? :)

Alot is going to depend on what Adelman does, you really can't have Hayes or Jeffries in the game with Dampier as they have no offense. I would like to see Hayes and Jeffries moved back into their natural roles as situational defenders when a 3 or 4 ie.Nowitzki, Aldridge type players start to get hot. And have Hill backup Scola in his natural position at the 4 with say 15+ minutes a game.

WojYahooNBA: RT @samickAOL: Sources tell FanHouse roster spot for Dampier will be created by trading of Houston SG Jermaine Taylor to highest bidder.

    Late sorry.

Yao will miss games. Miller and Dampier are old and slow. Chuck and Jeffries are limited. Its a long season. He'll get his shot.

Oh he'll be a tree in the middle alright because that's about how fast he moves on the court although the running joke up here is that rose bushes move faster...

Andrew Bynum of the Lakers is hurt. Kendrick Perkins of the Celics is hurt, they got Shaq and injury prone Jermaine O'neal... their Chuck Hayes is Big Baby. Both of these teams were in the finals we have to have somthing and our situation is better than other teams that are trying to match these two teams. We are even more prepared for the Orlando Magic who start Lewis at the four... we can go big on people again!

How sweet would it be to have him in when we play the Mavs? I'd like to see him put a smackdown on Dirk Nowitzki or swat a Terry layup. Did I mention I hate those guys?

Maybe playing Jordan Hill behind Scola now is what they really should do. I think Chuck is great at situational defensive assignments but I think Hill should be the guy off the bench that would be better suited playing off of Brad Miller and Lowry. With Miller on the high post, have Jordan's main focus be crashing the boards to get offensive rebounds, lay-ins, dunks, and the occasional post up.

Bringing in Damp is a good move I am just worried that Hill is being underused once again because Adelman is just frustrated with him, and doesn't trust him. First D'Antoni and now Adelman shows no confidence and faith in you as a player. This could kill his career if he doesnt get minutes and confidence from his coaches.

Exactly right. This is a sad day for me as a Rockets fan. I am so ready and hoping to be proven wrong, but it's hard to imagine the day where this forum is thinking "why did the Rockets bring in this passionless tree sloth?"
