    BOOM!

Ish Smith reports to the Vipers, and Brad Miller takes Cook's old spot at the end of the bench...?

we are going to cut Ish Smith  ....we should cut Hayes or Jared Jeffries, no point in having Hayes, Hill, Dampier, and Miller back up Yao

Good situational players, especially against the Lakers.

Hayes will slide to power forward, which is what he cut all that weight for. It works out, but now I feel like we just overpaid Brad Miller...

I stopped reading after i read "Hoopsworld is reporting...".
If this is true, Smith to D-League and AB will play more minutes since Lowry is still out and I m not sold Lee on PG! Plus Miller is >>>>> Dampier.

Use Hayes, Jeffries, Hill, as trade baits. Ish Smith can't fricking finish around the basket and can't fricking shoot! If it's a midget, at least learn how to lay up the fricking damn basketball!

I still think Jared Jeffries should be cut over Ish Smith, we will need his passing when Brooks goes cold

Hayes is unwanted outside of Houston, and Jeffries isn't exactly a quality trade chip.

Will RA play Damp in favor of Miller (Dampier's defensive presence in the middle is much needed)? If so, we're going to be paying Brad $5 million to ride the pine this season.

He is still a very valuable big man. He basically had the same per 36 numbers in rebounds and blocks as marcus camby last year. We need a big that can protect the rim when yao is not playing and h is the perfect compliment to Brad miller.

We slide Miller back to PF, and throw Damp in the middle.

    2nd unit:

    Lowry
    Lee
    Budinger
    Miller/Hayes
    Dampier

Rick Adelman probably won't even use him and keep Hayes at center while Dampier and Hill sit on the bench.

    Solid move.

His defense around the basket is needed.

I'd like to see a lineup of Yao, Dampier, and Miller.

    It wouldn't work, but it'd be fun to see . . . . once.

    Good news.

Now let's become a top 5 defensive team.
