    Houston DID NOT offer a contract to Erica

    Key clarification regarding Erick Dampier: two sources close to the situation say he has not been offered a contract by Houston.

    He can certainly get a one or two year deal (his choice), likely for the full bi-annual exception ($4 million combined). But the fact that talks with Dampier's people and the Rockets haven't reached that point is telling.

    Man Im happy as Heaven that Morey did not sign this guy. Why waste potential Mello money, potential iggy/gerald wallace trade money on the black Shawn Bradley???? :mad:
